Your Instructor
Jane is a full time professional portrait photographer and the course creator for The Lens Lounge.
She has been obsessed with photography since she was 7 and got her first SLR camera when backpacking around Australia in 1992. The “fancy new” camera was a very old Pentax, already 9 years out production. That’s when the big love started. She took photography courses in London and started freelancing as an assistant photographer to commercial and fashion photographers.
In 1999 she started photographing weddings and in 2009 opened her first photographic studio, concentrating on portraiture: boudoir, maternity, newborns and family photography.
In 2016 she began shooting mainly on location, concentrating on: families, model portfolios and personal branding shoots for business owners and bloggers.
Because she firmly believes that everyone should have great photos of their loved ones and places they've been, she's putting all her knowledge and experience into creating photography courses for all levels of expertise.
Your photographs are your history. Make it great!
